The Pennsbury Travel Baseball program for the 2023 season kicks off in 2 weeks!

PAA Families,

The Pennsbury Travel Baseball program for the 2023 season kicks off in 2 weeks!

We are excited to build on all of the successes of our 2022 season. Travel teams from all age levels brought home District banners; 2 teams won the PA Iron Man Tournament, 2 teams won the SEPA State Tournament, and 1 team won the Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament! We are proud to have a successful program.

PAA Travel Baseball offers our youth an opportunity to learn and participate in competitive baseball. Our goal is to teach the fundamentals of baseball with a strong emphasis on sportsmanship, hard work, self-confidence, humility, respect and discipline.

PAA Travel Baseball will provide your children the opportunity to achieve their true potential. There is a level of dedication by both the player and family that goes above and beyond our In-House program. Winter workouts generally start in January, and depending on the team's success, the season potentially lasts into August. The travel program is self-funded and costs vary by team. Most team fees are between $600 and $1000 per player for each calendar season. All players are required to play In-House, so keep in mind that playing travel baseball for PAA requires a commitment of five to six days a week during the In-House season.

A player's age on April 30, 2023 determines the age group for which he or she should try out.

 Please note the following:

  • Players who have previously played travel baseball may not wear travel uniforms/hats from previous seasons.

  • Prospective players need to attend only one of two sessions for your division but are encouraged to attend both. The player’s best scores will be considered for team assignment.

  • Bring your own bats, gloves and helmets, and please wear baseball pants to the tryout.

  • Players will be evaluated on throwing, running, hitting, fielding, pitching and catching (the latter two only if the player is interested in playing those positions).

  • Arrive at least 10 minutes ahead of your tryout time so you can register at the field.

  • Evaluators will not be affiliated with the division they are judging, and their scores will be used to determine who makes the team. The head travel baseball coaches run the tryouts, but they will not be scoring or formally evaluating the players.
