PAA Babe Ruth update

Test Test

The PAA Babe Ruth division (13-15 year olds) is wrapping up a great season. This year the PAA entered two teams into the Lower Bucks County Babe Ruth League. These two teams played in a very competitive league with teams from many of the surrounding communities making for a very exciting season.

Both teams made the playoff round and, as luck would have it, faced off against each other in a single elimination game on Monday the 18th at Caiola field. This game played out very much like the season with both teams battling and the game coming down to the final inning. Mike Perate's team held a lead against Doug Kimball going into the bottom of the 7th. Doug Kimball's team got the home field advantage and was able to capitalize with a walk off, game winning, hit! It was an exciting game and it was terrific to see all of the Pennsbury players competing hard to the final out and then shaking hands with all of their friends on both teams.

Thank you to Coach Mike Perate and Coach Doug Kimball as well as all of the assistants and parents who helped out this season. Let's all wish Doug Kimball good luck as he moves on to play Middletown Blue on Thursday the 21st! Go PAA!
